(Written by Deb) I graduated in 1974 from the School of Mines in Rapid City with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. From there I went to the University of Wyoming in Laramie and graduated with a Masters in Business Administration in the Fall of 1976. My first job right out of school was with Amoco ( with their production company) in Farmington, New Mexico. I was employed by them until February 14, 1978, when I returned to Lemmon to work for my Dad at Wheeler, Mfg., Co., Inc. I am currently the President of Wheeler Mfg. which employees about 115 people. I have been very active in the raising our children (have been a Dad-Coach more than once) and hopefully will be very active in the lives of our grandchildren and great grandchildren! |
My passion, besides my children and wife, is pheasant hunting. I have been shot from 30 yards and have over 25 lead shot at various places in my upper (L) body. I am very particular about who I hunt with after that ordeal. What a blessing that I was not injured seriously. We are empty nesters and are really enjoying this time to travel overseas to Hong Kong, Philippines and New Zealand for business purposes. We are now Montana land owners, so I believe it is safe to say that I will be retiring in about 10-15 years and spending a little time fishing and skiing with family in Montana. God has been so good to us!!!! |
