I walked out of the armory that day after graduation
after walking down the diplorma trial with Wanda Erhart. I immediately
went to school at Black Hills Vo Tech in Rapid City for electronics. I
then came back to Lemmon and worked for Krebs Blacksmith Shop and worked
there for four or five years and then moved to Gillette and worked as a
welder in the oil fields and the coal mine. My heart was back home in
Lemmon with Angela LaBarge and we married in 1979. My only son, John was
born the next year and we made our home in Gillette. Angela and I got
divorced three later and I began working in construction building
chemical plants for the next ten years in Mississippi, Colorado,
Washington, Wyoming and all over the place. I finally settled in Pine
Haven, Wyoming and took care of the golf course for the next nine years.
Then I went to work for Basic Energy where I continue to work as a welder,
mechanic and electrician. My son also lives in Pine Haven and continues
to live with me which he has done since my divorce.
