After short stints at SDSU and the Navy, a disillusioned Tim moved to Calgary, Alberta, where he met Joan, a Saskatchewan farm girl, and damn good cook! We have been married for 30 years. While in Calgary, I delivered oxygen and set up equipment for respiratory patients.

As Calgary approached 400 thousand people (Now 1.2 million), we decided to leave the hustle and bustle, and moved up North to a commune of Igloos, where the sun never sets in the Summer and never rises in the Winter. When the bottom dropped out of the ice cube market, we closed our eyes, put our fingers on the map, and ended up in Lethbridge, Alberta, a community of about 100,000 people.

Here I have worked as a parts man in the Welding Supplies and Major Appliance Businesses. I took Irrigation Management from the University of Alberta and worked at waterlogging the soil of Southern Alberta for many years.  I missed my chance at fame and fortune by declining a job in Saudi Arabia installing Pivot Irrigation Systems for the Arabs. I then went back to school at Lethbridge College and became an Electronics Technician. I worked for Rogers/AT&T as a service manager.

Over the years, the old body has developed Diabetes and Arthritis, and after a Spinal Cord Injury, I was forced to retire. I now have a piece of my hip and a titanium plate holding my neck together. That ended my career as a Professional Wrestler, and forced me to give up my Golf game.  No more 2 wheeling either.  When we win the lottery, we will buy a trike.

Joan is a Department Manager for the dreaded Wal-Mart.

She has been working there forever. Her favorite hobbies are sewing and gardening.

We both enjoy camping and working in the yard.

Joan and I have two daughters and one son.  Sheena and her husband Mike, live in Canmore, Alberta, on the boundary of Banff National Park. There she is a hairdresser to the rich and famous, and he manages a furniture warehouse.

Our son, Shaun, is a manager & trouble shooter for Danier Leather, and therefore travels the country quite a bit. We don’t see him as often as we would like.

The two dogs are Java and Myka. Best damn alarm system we could have ever purchased.

We try to make it to the Hills every summer, usually toward the end of the Rally. My Mom lives in Spearfish and is still pretty spry and sharp of tongue.

If anyone gets up this way, you are welcome to drop in, and I would love to hear from anyone via E-mail.
