After graduating from high school I joined the army and became a military policeman.  I married Lola Stevens (also from Lemmon) and we ranched north of Lemmon.  We had a one child, a little girl we named Billie Jo.  We divorced and I marred Audrey Gaaskjolen and we have one son named Shiloh.

After marrying Audrey, I worked in the oil fields near Dickinson, North Dakota while Audrey went to nursing school to become an LPN.  Later we moved to Rapid City and I worked at Lamperts for many years while Audrey finished working on her RN degree.  I also worked for several years at Merrilat while we lived in Rapid.

We moved back to the Meadow area to care for Audrey's dad and work on the ranch.  I started working at Northwest Supply in Lemmon and continue to work there while also ranching on the Gaaskjolen home place where we run purebred angus cattle and Tennessee Walking horses plus a dog breeding kennel.
